Dr. Asad Khan is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Milton Keynes Hospital with over 15 years of NHS experience. He initially trained as a Consultant Physician in Pakistan before completing post-fellowship training in gastroenterology. Since joining the NHS in 2010, he has built a distinguished career in gastroenterology and endoscopy, managing a wide range of conditions, including reflux, IBS, IBD, chronic digestive disorders, fatty liver, and gastrointestinal infections. Dedicated to patient comfort, he specializes in advanced therapeutic endoscopy, performing complex polypectomies, GI bleed management, stricture dilations, and diagnostic procedures such as colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and gastroscopy.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Khan is actively involved in research, quality improvement, and medical education. He leads the Capsule Sponge service for Barrett’s oesophagus screening as part of the Cytoprime 2 trial and is a JAG-accredited colonoscopy trainer and educational supervisor.
